Today the club counts beyond 250 active members, united by a passion for motorcycling and the desire to live unforgettable adventures together.
The Moto Club Castellazzo Bormida was founded in 1933 by the will of a group of local motorcyclist enthusiasts. In almost a century of activity, the Club has gone through wars, economic booms and crises, always keeping the flame of brotherhood and passion for two wheels alive.
Founded in an era in which the motorcycle was still a luxury for the few, the Club immediately distinguished itself for the organization of regularity races on the dirt roads of Monferrato: Il Quadrifoglio, Il Giro dell'oca...
With the economic boom, the number of members grew exponentially. They were years of large gatherings and sporting successes at a national and international level.
The first meeting: On 8 September 1946, with the approval of the Italian Motorcycle Federation (FMI), the 1st Motorcycle Conference of the Madonnina dei Centauri was held.
On 11 February 1947, Pope Pius XII with the Papal Bull proclaimed the Primary patroness of motorcyclists, the Blessed Virgin of Crete and the Graces, the Madonnina of Castellazzo. Thus was born the Madonnina dei Centauri.
The Moto Club Castellazzo was definitively structured, acquiring its current headquarters and consolidating the tradition of the International Gathering which still attracts motorcyclists from all over the world today.
Today the Castellazzo Bormida Moto Club has over 200 active members and continues to promote events, excursions and activities for all two-wheel enthusiasts, keeping alive the values of friendship, respect and passion that have always distinguished us.
Organization of the first post-war races and rallies. The Motoclub becomes a point of reference for enthusiasts in the area. On February 11th the Blessed Virgin of Crete and Graces "La Madonnina" is proclaimed Primary patroness of motorcyclists.
With the end of the war, the Motoclub was reborn with new impetus. The members return and the activity resumes with renewed enthusiasm. On 8 September 1946 the 1st Motorcycle Conference of the Madonnina dei Centauri was held.
The country and the club face the difficulties of war. The means are requisitioned, but the community resists united.
The activity is suspended due to the world conflict. Many members leave for the front, but the dream of the Motoclub remains alive in their hearts.
The Motoclub Castellazzo Bormida is born, among the first in Piedmont. A group of enthusiasts decides to combine their passion for engines in a structured association.
